Experience the brand

VTG’s transformation continues to gain momentum. With a clearly defined purpose and our FOCUS strategy, the direction is set. Now it is about making this direction visible and tangible. A key component of this effort is the brand refresh, developed by a cross-functional project team led by Corporate Communications in close collaboration with our Executive Board. The team was supported by the Swedish brand consultancy Lynxeye.

These examples show how VTG’s new color palette works in practice. It creates clear structure, strong readability, and a distinctive visual impact—from digital applications and data visualizations to communication.

More than just a new design

The VTG Brand Hub

Our Brand Hub on VIBES provides all key information, guidelines, and materials for your daily work at a glance—clearly structured, up to date, and ready to use. 

A brand refresh goes far beyond a purely visual update. Of course, it includes new colors, modern typography, and refreshed imagery. At its core, however, it is about how the company is perceived and how employees’ actions align with that perception.

Our goal was not to reinvent the brand. Instead, we refined and strengthened its existing qualities, developing them further and embedding them consistently into our daily operations. In the future, it will be clearer what VTG stands for, the value we create for customers and partners, and how we live collaboration and responsibility. This clarity provides orientation in a dynamic market—both externally and internally.

From concept to everyday practice

At a glance

A brand refresh describes the modernization of strategy, design, and messaging with the goal of making the VTG brand clearer, more relevant, and more tangible.

Our brand promise, “Moving you forward,” is VTG’s central commitment. It defines the value we deliver to customers and how we differentiate ourselves in the market.

Our purpose, “Innovating together for a green and connected Europe,” represents the overarching reason that guides our actions and enables innovation for a sustainable, connected future in Europe.

It highlights how we co-create innovations with partners and customers and the role we aim to play for people, society, and a sustainable future for Europe. The brand refresh now translates this ambition consistently into our brand identity.

The implementation of the brand refresh took place in three consecutive phases. It began with strategic sharpening: based on our purpose and corporate strategy, we analyzed the needs and expectations of our target groups. This resulted in a clear brand foundation with concrete guiding principles for our actions.

Building on this, we moved into content and visual development. A consistent and modern appearance ensures that our brand is clear and recognizable across all channels. In the third and current phase, the focus is on embedding the brand into everyday work. Clear guidelines—such as our new Corporate Design Manual, available in the Brand Hub on VIBES—provide orientation and clarity for implementation.

The brand refresh marks a strategic milestone in VTG’s transformation. It creates a shared foundation for our decisions, our communication, and our collaboration. In this way, strategy, purpose, and brand values become tangible in our daily work. At the same time, it strengthens our market position, reinforces customer relationships, and clearly differentiates VTG from competitors. The brand refresh therefore lays the foundation for a sustainable and successful future for our company.
