Once November rolls around, the new PEP! participants will gather for their first training at the conference hotel. After an intense selection process, “new ways of working”. On the other hand, each of the employees that was not selected to participate in the PEP! program will receive a personalized development plan so that they, too, can continue to develop.
“This year, in addition to launching a new program cycle, we have also revised the selection process and the content of the program,”
Lennart Villinger, Consultant Human Resources Development
“Besides having a new provider for the selection process, we have more real-world tasks in the assessment center. And the nomination process has changed, as well. Employees used to be able to nominate themselves or be nominated by a manager. But now the manager and employee must jointly submit the nomination.” Optional components are also new. For example, the program now includes trainings on project management and intercultural skills, a mentoring program with a personal adviser, and a dedicated Teams channel for exchanging ideas and experiences. After successfully completing the program and delivering a final presentation, participants will receive a certificate – and be well prepared for future challenges.
“I’m looking forward to learning how to improve my weaknesses and use my strengths to apply them in interdisciplinary tasks.”
Mercedes Mañon, Process and Technical Development Engineer
“Before the assessment center, I wondered how my personal assessment would look like based on just one day – especially in comparison to colleagues and superiors who have known me for a much longer period of time. I found it very interesting that the evaluation is reflected after all, even in my personal evaluation.”
Janek Schubert, Business Analyst / Leasing Expert
“My anticipation for PEP! has already increased with the assessment center, because we had a lot of fun in addition to the intensive tasks. I am especially looking forward to the opportunities to exchange ideas with familiar and new faces. The diversity of participants will broaden my horizons and help me personally contribute to VTG’s transformation.”
