What are your tasks at VTG?
I deal with inquiries and problems that cannot be solved by the service desk. I try to solve these using my experience and specialist knowledge. In the course of this, I distribute tickets to the right colleagues in the technology department, the so-called second level support. I also look after the servers of many applications. For example, the servers in the Joigny workshop or the central archive system. Furthermore, I am involved in the process optimization of the IT infrastructure. This concerns the automation and further development of processes.
Your job in three words:
Analyze, Delegate, Solve
Your coolest project or experience at VTG so far:
The conversion of the Easy Archive systems. At the beginning, I didn’t realize how much was involved, so I was able to build up a lot more knowledge.
What do you do when you’re not working?
Spending time with family, friends and neighbors and making the best of it. In addition crafting, IT development, house automation and also sometimes playing on the PC.
Who should introduce themselves next in the ON TRACK?
Mareke from Hamburg.
