What are challenges in your daily work?

Provide inspiration and support employees in letting go of old behaviours to make room for new ways of thinking and working methods.

Your coolest project or experience at VTG so far:

When I started at Waggonwerk Brühl, I was able to work on the VTG Steel Train project. As part of this team, I was not only able to contribute my skills, but also gain a lot of new knowledge about the different types of wagons and their characteristics. The project also gave me the chance to quickly socialise with many different people and get to know the VTG family. The conclusion of the Steel Train at the end of the year at one of our sites in Großräschen rounded off the event. There I was given my first insights into the new build project.

What do you do when you´re not working?

In my free time, I enjoy riding through the Siebengebirge or the Eifel with my friends when the weather is good, since I got my motorbike licence last year. We spend a lot of time in the fresh air, eating ice cream or going for walks. On rainy days, I like to relax at home with a cup of tea or coffee and work on creative projects. I then knit and crochet items of clothing or (reasonably) useful things for everyday life. If I have old clothes, I enjoy sewing new things out of them.
