What are challenges in your daily work?
The current focus is on introducing the sem app in the initial reception area and, in parallel, optimizing the app to process all detail segments (wagon types).
In addition, ensuring good employee management in constantly changing systems and circumstances.

Your coolest project or experience at VTG so far:
A little while ago, it was my job to introduce the initial recording staff at the new WWB locations to their work on the waggon and the technology of the waggon, so that I could use a proper initial recording protocol to create the working papers for my colleagues in the workshop halls in Brühl in the ERP system (=SAP).
But at the moment, it is definitely the implementation of the sem app/shunting app in our workshop and at our sites. This is designed, on the one hand, for damage recording of the wagons and the subsequent creation of work orders and, on the other hand, for planning and controlling the wagons in the main workshop and at the sites.
What do you do when you’re not working?
I generally enjoy doing any kind of sport, but I mostly ride my bike and power myself out in the terrain or enjoy spending time with my son on the bike and exploring nature with him and my wife.
On the water, I usually go SUPing or wakeboarding at the cable park, or surfing. I always enjoy spending time with my wife and son very much. Of course, traveling together and getting to know other cultures, as well as concerts (soon with the little one too) are always on the agenda.
