After the strong momentum of the first Fast Forward FOCUS journey, the next group of colleagues has now stepped in to continue bringing our FOCUS strategy to life. With fresh perspectives, new energy and a shared ambition to make a difference, Team 2 is ready to move forward!

A New Team, Same Ambition

Fast Forward FOCUS remains a key format to accelerate the implementation of our strategy by enabling people to work differently:

More customer-centric
More action-driven
Beyond functional silos

Building on this foundation, Team 2 will, over the next six months (starting in April), they will challenge existing approaches, contribute new ideas and work collaboratively across boundaries – always with a clear focus on connecting, creating impact and keeping things simple as this are our main drivers in our strategy.

Fast Forward FOCUS – Team 2

What? Fast Forward FOCUS is a key format to accelerate the implementation of the FOCUS strategy. Team 2 brings together colleagues from different functions and countries who work collaboratively on strategic challenges.

Why? To turn strategy into impact – more customer‑centric, more action‑driven, and beyond functional silos – supporters of our “Move fast and fix things” culture
When? April to September – structured into three challenges.

What is Team 2 working on?

Challenge 1: Customer Centricity – Simplifying the booking and execution of mobile maintenance

Challenge 2: Engagement – Strengthening leadership, energy, and team spirit

Challenge 3: Passion Project – A topic defined by the team with high personal relevance

Meet the People Behind Team 2

At the heart of Fast Forward FOCUS are the engaged people who make it happen. Team 2 brings together a diverse group of colleagues, each with their own background, expertise and personality.

Alice Schifferer – Project & Travel Manager

Alice is used to planning and booking complex journeys with ease. She also has a big part, that we have a smooth transition in our new headquarter. But when it comes to packing her own suitcase, things suddenly get a bit more complicated. 😉

Florian Rimatzki – Customs Manager

Florian guides our organization through the dynamic world of customs and international trade. As a child, he dreamed of becoming a bus driver, fascinated by the oversized steering wheel. Today, he still enjoys navigating complexity, just on a different route.

Yvonne Liebe – Department Lead HR, Workshop Elze

Yvonne supports people and leaders in finding direction. Interestingly, when it comes to actual navigation, she trusts the skills of her seven-year-old daughter.

Niklas Brochhagen – Strategic Procurement

Niklas connects strategy and suppliers to create long-term value. Outside of work, he enjoys long-distance running, a mindset that also shows in his persistence at work

Giovanni Forcheri – Sales Account, Italy

Giovanni works closely with customers to turn their needs into sustainable rail solutions. With curiosity and a strong sense for relationships, he brings valuable customer perspective to the team.

Beatriz Rodriguez – Transformation & Strategy

Beatriz translates the Voice of the Customer into concrete improvements. Currently, she is also working on balancing Spanish sunshine with Hamburg weather, a challenge she admits is harder than expected.

Archie Lucas – Sales & Account Manager, United Kingdom

Archie focuses on building strong customer relationships in the UK. When the weather allows it (and we all know that rain is a constant companion), he explores the roads on his motorbike.

Fast Forward FOCUS Continues

With Team 2 now on board, Fast Forward FOCUS enters its next chapter.
It remains a powerful example of what happens when we live our values: ownership, collaboration, respect, innovation & simplicity. Most importantly, it shows that strategy only creates real value when people actively shape it.
