Over a period of 14 months, participants from 14 different countries explored leadership topics and gradually developed their leadership skills step by step.

At a glance:

Let´s Lead VTG – Team Leads

  • Duration: April 2025 to June 2026
  • Around 130 Team Leads
  • Focus areas: Leading Self, Leading Team, Leading Business
  • Additional content on FOCUS, change, and leadership
  • Impulse sessions on topics such as problem-solving, ownership and AI
  • Various networking formats for connecting in person and digitally

When participants met in June for their final online session as part of the program, the focus was no longer solely on the content covered over the previous months. Instead, the central question was what had remained from the shared learning journey in their day-to-day leadership roles and which impulses had sparked lasting change.

Learning... and Exchange

From the very beginning, Let’s Lead VTG was more than a traditional training program. The Learning Journey combined different learning modules with numerous opportunities for exchange and networking. Whether during a pizza lunch in Hamburg, digital “Grab a Coffee” sessions, or virtual speed-dating events, new connections continually emerged across business units and national borders.

What made these formats particularly valuable was not only the formats themselves, but also the spaces they created: for open dialogue, honest reflection, and the exchange of challenges, experiences, and successes in everyday leadership.

From listening to trying out

In the first module, many participants still perceived the content as highly theoretical. Through practical examples, group discussions, and experiences from everyday leadership, however, the models became more tangible. New feedback formats were tested, conversations were structured more effectively, and responsibilities were delegated more consciously. Feedback from the learning groups repeatedly showed that it is often the small changes that create the greatest long-term impact.
